Big Steve's Lawn Care is owned and operated by Steve Arp (originally from the Canton/Cartersville GA area, now living in Dalton GA). Steve spent 2 years at Lake Allatoona working for R&D Maintenance as part of the a crew that handled the grass mowing for all of the campground and day-use areas. After spending the next several years as a heavy equipment operator, he decided he wanted to get into the lawn care business. He started working with Matt Crane, who own's Crane's Lawn Care (operating mainly in the Ooltewah TN area), late in 2011 in a effort to learn about the Lawn Care business. Steve spent all of 2012 mowing yards and performing various landscaping projects for Crane's Lawn Care. Now Steve has his own equipment and is looking to form a customer base of his own closer to his residence in Dalton GA.
